Let's talk about the breakdown of Begleri moves, what they are and mean, what makes them, and the series I'm working on.
I will update this top post with the best information gathered.
Breakdown Terms
I believe Begleri flow is broken down into Adjustments, Mechanics, Tricks and Combos:
Adjustments
I chose the term Adjustments after Musclebones said this:
[*]Weight
[*]Length
[*]Size
[*]Hand Tilt
[*]Finger Spread
[*]Grip
[*]Slinging Plane
[*]Strength
[*]Grip Position
[*]Momentum
Mechanics
Mechanics Definition (someone write a better one)
Every trick is made up of sub movements, executive motor functions, more granular to the degree that I can’t quite tell you. but what I do know, is that every trick made by combining multiple small movements ; which I call mechanics.
Mechanics are the core techniques behind performing tricks; they’re not too impressive alone, but combined make great combos and tricks. By changing mechanics in a trick, you can change how the trick is performed, looks, and do different variations.
List Of Mechanics
Core Begleri Mechanics Series highlights mechanics:
[*]Whips
[*]Rolls
[*]Hook
[*]Unhook
[*]Over/Under hooks
[*]Rebounds
[*]Pass/Cabs
[*]Slips
[*]Gap Transfers (Spreads, Scissors, Splits?)
[*]Wraps
[*]Tension / Timed Tension
[*]Moonwalks
[*]Sonics
[*]Drops
[*]Interceptions
[*]Skips
[*]Flings
[*]Pops
[*]Swings
[*]Inward/Outward throws
[*]Flicks
[*]Collisions
[*]Slip ‘n Slides
[*]Stalls
[*]Bead Holds
[/ul]Tricks
Tricks Definition
Tricks are a combination of mechanics simultaneously and consecutively.
List Of Tricks
A lot
[*]Variations
[*]Repeating the same trick but changing a mechanic or adjustment
Combos
Combo definition
Combos are a collection of more than one trick done consecutively not simultaneously.
List Of Combos
[*]Flowing

Adjustments
I chose the term Adjustments after Musclebones said this:
outside of "practice" just try to be mindful of what is happening
there are a lot of micro adjustments in begleri that we all pretty much never talk about
in the instance of rolls, I am able to very subtly adjust the timing of my catch by relaxing my hand so the bead will slot into the next position as I want it to
these kinds of adjustments are built on feel after a lot of practice so it's hard to give tips outside of that, maybe also check in with your length again but it's best not to mess with that too much
so yeah, watch the timing of your catch, see if you can delay it a second, or adjust which fingers are sticking out or in or how much force you're shaking your arm and speed of the set
watch all these things
