Per side- 1 5/16" stainless steel hex nut
- 1 3/8" stainless steel hex nut
- 1 nylon spacer
- 1 size #10 stainless steel washer
- Super glue
Directions - Sand down one side of each hex nut around the hole.
- Sand down both sides of the steel washer.
- Apply superglue to one side of the washer, center it over one of the hex nuts and press down to glue it in place.
- Repeat the process with the other hex nut so that both nuts are attached to the same washer
- Before proceeding, make sure whatever cord you're using fits inside of the nylon spacer, both nuts and washer.
- Apply superglue to the nylon spacer and place it in the smaller nut. Hold it in until the glue dries a little bit. This bit acts as a cord stabilizer to keep the cord in the center of the bead.
- Repeat for the second bead.
Details- Weight:
Steel/Steel: 24g/set Steel/Nylon: 17g/set
Pro-tips- If your beads come unglued during play and you want to stick them back together, scrape the dried glue off of the beads before reapplying new glue. I find it easiest to use pliers to hold the bead and a dull knife to scrape the glue off -- just be careful with the knife.
- Superglue dries quickly when it comes into contact with skin.
- You can swap out the steel 5/16" nut with a nylon one to cut the weight down.

I get mine from Braindeef, but the nylon spacers work well enough if you're looking for something you can make from the hardware store.
